Water Soluble Topping (also know as Solvy) is a plastic topping that is hooped on the top of the fabric. This should always be used on pile fabrics such as terrycloth, pique knit, fleece, or any fabric where stitches tend to get lost in the material. Water soluble topping will also help your small text look better when letters start to close-up and become unreadable.
This Water Soluble Topping is easy to remove; just pull away the topping and spray a light mist of water to dissolve any remaining plastic.
This embroidery backing is perforated every 8 inches. Sold in sizes of 6" x 110 yd., 8" x 110 yd., and 10" x 110 yd.
