Texsource Water Based Ink - Ultra Discharge White

Texsource Water Based Inks are non-PVC, non-Pthalate inks and are perfect for anyone that is looking to try out or switch to printing with water based inks. You get super soft hand prints, sharp details, and bright colors on 100% cotton fibers. 

Our water based inks provide decent color saturation and opacity whether you are printing on light or dark colored garments.

Dischargeable:

This white ink is not a stand-alone print white - it is intended to only be used as a discharge white.  When printing on dark colored fabrics, adding a discharge agent bleaches the dye of the fabric during the curing process to get the brightest colors when printing on darker colored fabrics.  Mix 6% discharge additive like Discharge Activator ZF with the water base ink. Mix well and leave for 10 minutes. Once mixed the ink will have an approximate 12-hour shelf life. Activate small portions of colors at a time.

Printing Instructions:

Print wet on wet. Light to Dark. Water based ink is prone to drying out quickly and can cause screen blockages. If you need to walk away from press for more than 45 minutes put the excess ink back into the container to preserve ink and clean the remaining ink on the screen to prevent blockages.

Stencil:

Must use Water Resistant Emulsion such as Xenon Tex-Edge Dual Cure Emulsion or an emulsion hardener like, Chromaline Chromaset.

Flash:

NOT recommended

Curing:

330°F/165°C for 90 seconds
