• Introduction to DTF Printing: Understand the technology and how it compares to other printing methods like DTG and screen printing.

• Setting Up for Success: Get to know the essential equipment - like M&R’s four-head Quatro DTF printing system and Texsource’s twin head DTF design - including heat presses, and learn how to maintain them for optimal performance.

• Selection and Installation: DTF printers don’t need a huge floor plan to take advantage of the technology, but we’ll show you how to maximize the space you have. We’ll go over electrical considerations and exhaust considerations and explain the DTF setup and installation process. 

• Design: Learn how to prepare artwork for flawless DTF printing, including tips on file formats, resolution, and color management.

• Incorporating Artificial Intelligence: Use commonly available AI tools, like Midjourney and Ideogram, to quickly create high-quality art

• CADLink: Get hands-on experience with the industry standard RIP software. 

• Halftoning: Proper halftoning can make or break DTF prints. We’ll show you how to quickly move through the process and produce finished prints with a much softer hand feel. 

• Maintenance: Keeping your DTF printer up and running isn’t hard. We’ll show you common maintenance tasks and procedures like priming dampers and inspecting print heads. 

• Do This, Not That: We’ll show you the things you should do - like printer calibration, test printing and proper startup and shutdown procedures - and what you should avoid, like using poor quality art and materials and neglecting environmental conditions. 

• The Printing Process: Walk through the entire DTF printing process, including applying your designs to materials.

• Transfers: Perfect your technique with hands-on practice in applying DTF prints to different fabrics - including shirts, hats and drink koozies.
