Approximate PMS Match = 3305C.  *Shirt image is a simulated illustration only - actual color may vary.  The Texsource Polyester line of screen printing inks are designed for use with cotton/polyester blends, 100% polyester, or stretchable poly fabrics (garments which can be difficult to print on due to their flexible nature and a process known as dye migration, where dye from polyester fibers is released into your ink when cured). Using specially formulated Texsource Polyester Inks makes printing these types of garments easy by helping to avoid these common problems.

Texsource Polyester Inks are low-bleed, non-phthalate, low-fusing, fast-flashing, low-tack, plastisol-based printing inks that will make your athletic screen printing simple and trouble free.

As always care should be taken when printing on 100% polyester garments, especially when printing lighter colors on dark garments.  These colors may be particularly affected by dye migration issues.  For maximum opacity, consider the use of an underbase print such as a blocker gray.

SUBSTRATES
Our Polyester series inks are best suited for high polyester content cotton blend shirts and 100% polyester shirts.  Excellent results can also be seen on newer Tri-Blend shirts.  They are equally at home on small manual presses or larger production automatic presses.  For printing on nylon and nylon blend shirts the use of a catalyst may be needed for proper adhesion.

CURING
Although curing times and temperatures will vary depending on equipment, substrate, and environment, a general guideline would be to set curing temperature to 320f with an approximate dwell time of 60 seconds.

MIXING
The Texsource Polyester series of inks can be used with a variety of common additives such as reducers, stretch, puff, thickener, etc.  Refer to mixing instructions from your additive supplier for proper mixing ratios and instructions.

EMULSIONS
These inks can be used with all reputable emulsion brands that are for use with plastisol inks.  This includes dual cure, diazo, and photopolymer emulsions.

CLEANUP
Our Polyester series inks are easy to clean with most brands of screen wash or ink remover products.  As always, use proper safety procedures when handling ink or chemical products including proper hand and eye protection.
