Add extra depth and dimension to your prints with Texsource Tex Puff Additive.Easy-to-use and long lasting once mixed, Tex Puff Additive is used to give your prints a raised or elevated effect after curing. Printers can make single color prints pop with Tex Puff or use it to accentuate specific parts of a multi-color design.
Tex Puff is formulated to be mixed with Texsource GEN or SO inks at 15-20% by weight. Puff Additive allows you to minimize the number of products you have on your shelf and gives you great results. This special effects product works well with Union, Rutland, and International Coatings Inks.
PRINTING:
For best results, follow manufacturer recommendations for the base ink Tex Puff is mixed with. Printers can use any direct or indirect emulsion or capillary film in the 35-70 micron range.
Use a 60-70 durometer squeegee when printing to ensure adequate ink coverage. A single hit of ink produces good results, but you can also flash between a second hit of ink if a more pronounced puff effect is required.
Curing temperature is determined by the ink used when printing.
